The Department of Air Transport (K621) at the Faculty of Transportation Sciences, CTU in Prague, offers education in the dynamically developing sector of air transport — ranked alongside aerospace among the top in application of the latest science and technology.

Our graduates achieve bachelor, engineer, or doctorate degrees at one of the oldest and most prestigious technical universities in Europe — established in 1707. In cooperation with aviation industry partners, we provide comprehensive training aligned with current European standards.

Students can obtain an ATPL transport pilot licence or a Category B aircraft maintenance technician licence — both recognized throughout the European Union.

The high interest in our aviation degree courses has made us a leader in aviation education in the Czech and Slovak market. The Faculty also collaborates with many foreign universities offering exchange programmes.
